Healthy Eating
One in 10 six year olds is obese.

The total number of obese children has doubled since 1982.

On present trends half of all children in England in 2020 could be obese.

The recent national survey of young people aged 4-18 years found:

Children eat less than half the recommended five portions of fruit and vegetables a day.
In an average week, one in five 4-18 year olds ate no fruit at all.
4% of the sample did not consume any vegetables during the 7-day survey period.

Startling statistics that we are committed to improving.
